Well, Kodi officially has her first round of chemo under her belt. TW and TJ thought that they were going to get to go home today, but the doctors want to see Kodi's pain under a little better control and want to see her eating better before they let her go home along w/ doing more education with TW and TJ on what to watch for when they get home so Friday is now the plan. They finally got the official results back from her bone scan today and along w/ the tumor in her abdomen and the one close to her spine, ALL of her bone marrow, and ALL of her hard bone is effected. Not great news, but when Kodi was diagnosed everybody knew we were in this for the long haul and that hasn't changed. Tuesday can't get here fast enough for me. It's going to be hard for me to make myself take a nap before I leave to head that way, but I will have to make myself so that I can stay awake for the drive down.
I finally caved this week and let Billy buy Rock Band. He and Jared May (one of the other coaches here) were about to pee their pants when they got home from Best Buy the other day they were so excited. I have to admit it's been pretty fun to play the last couple of days. Along w/ rocking out on Rock Band we have been finishing up laundry and yesterday we moved all of the furniture out of our room and cleaned the carpets in our room. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get the guest bedroom done.
I have to work tonight, so I guess I should get off of here and get ready. Hope everyone has a great St. Patrick's Day.
Pray that Kodi will have an appetite and that her pain would be better controlled as they get ready to go home. And say a prayer of thanks for all the people that have rallied around the Tutt's. Their house has been invaded and disinfected top to bottom and the grocery store there in Sanger is giving them free groceries for as long as they need them along w/ all the countless other things people have done for them.
