We won!!!!! I was so excited that we won. This was a huge game for our guys. They were all (coaches and players alike) frustrated with where they were ranked this year and for them to go out and play as well as they did was great!! I have very little voice today b/c I yelled so long and so loud. I've come to the conclusion that some people just don't need to sit in or near the student section. We have these VERY fun noisemakers called Kazoobees and they are loud...as noisemakers were intended to be. Well, needless to say, there were quite a few people sitting around us who didn't appreciate our noisemakers and finally got up and left. It's a football game people...what do you want me to do, sit in the bleachers like a bump on a log...I don't think so! There was a funny (well sort of) incidence part way through the 3rd quarter. Some South Dakota guy kept popping off to a WT fan and finally the fan had had enough and hauled off a hit him. Needless to say he got arrested and the other guy had to find the first aid station. Boys...some of them never grow up!

ACTUALLY, here is how the "incident" went down according to John. There were some WT guys sitting in the SD area. One of them was walking up and down the rail taunting the SD players. One of the players' dads had had enough, and told the guy to take a hike, in not so pleasant terms. They ended up getting into a fistfight, and the dad slipped and hit his the back of his head on the bleachers. In the process, the majority of the SD players were climbing the rails to get in the stands when the police broke it up. The dad and the guy from WT both got mist. charges, and no one got arrested or went to jail. Fun stuff!! :)
